Bozeman, Montana

Well, we made it to Bozeman!  We have officially been here a week and we are finally settling in.  My mom (Pat) and Craig's dad (Jody) flew into town to help with the move.  We fit everything into the biggest Uhaul that they have, and our 2 cars.  Scout rode with Craig in the Uhaul, and she did pretty well!  Mom and I drove the Four Runner, and Jody drove Craig's truck.  We made it here in a little over 8 hours, with a few stops along the way.  The roads in Idaho were ridiculous!  There was one lane on the highway, and tons of snow and ice.  It was not fun to drive on, but we made it in one piece.  We spent the weekend unpacking and getting to know all of the local restaurants in town.  We also made it to the Museum of the Rockies at Montana State University.  Jody left on Tuesday and my mom headed back to Dallas on Wednesday.  Ironically enough, Dallas got 12 inches of snow on Thursday and everyone canceled school for Friday.  I think it's so cool that Texas got that much snow!  I just think it's hilarious that they canceled school...we got tons more snow in Utah and they NEVER canceled school.  Here in Bozeman, there is even MORE snow and everyone just functions like normal and drives on the snow like it's pavement!  Scout loves the super deep snow here.  We took her to the dog park today and she had a great time.  Craig goes to work on Tuesday, and I am constantly on the job hunt.  I was planning on substituting, but they have an abundance of subs here in Bozeman, so that's out for now.  I am looking at some other cities that might require a small drive, so we shall wait and see!
It is very cold here, but it is really beautiful.  The sunsets are gorgeous, and we have a great view from our upstairs deck. It's so quiet too...the only noise we ever hear is the occasional train.
Here are a few pictures that we took while our parents were here:

I miss my students a lot.  I know that sounds crazy, but I really love them, and I wonder how they are doing everyday.  I hope they are being good for Mr. Christensen!  I miss my friends from work too, and of course we both miss our Survivor crew and all of our SLC friends.  After watching the Olympics and seeing how beautiful Canada is, we are thinking about venturing up there while we are here in Montana.  We're pretty close to the border!
Today is our 8 month wedding anniversary.  Craig says it's not an anniversary since it's not a year, but I disagree.  He's making us dinner, so that is our celebration!  We survived 8 months and another move.  Go us! hehe...So, that's all I have to report as of now.  We love and miss everyone and hope you are all doing well.
