Memorial Day Weekend

We went to hang out with our friends from SLC, Eric and Teresa, over the Memorial Day weekend. Teresa's dad lives in Butte, which is about an hour and a half from us, and he has a cabin between Butte and Bozeman. Teresa's sister, brother-in-law, 3 kids and 2 dogs also came to visit. All together, there were 10 people and 6 dogs. We also hung out with their friends Liz and Craig, who have a cabin down the road. The boys went dirt bike riding, then Craig and I, E and T, and Liz and Craig took the bikes and 4 wheelers up into the mountains. We saw a big moose and a few deer along the way. We also celebrated my birthday and played Catch Phrase, cooked out, made smores, took the dogs for walks, and went to the nearby town of Pony (Population 108) for their Annual Duck Race/BBQ. It gets a little chilly in the mountains, so we were bundled up most of the time. The boys had to sleep out on the deck/patio for the night and they claimed they were "perfectly warm" even though it was around 36 degrees that night. We had a great time and Montana is beautiful! It was our first time seeing how pretty things are without the snow. Although, we got as far as we could in the mountains before the snow covered the trail too much and we had to turn around. There are a ton of pictures posted on my Facebook, but I will put a few here. There are also some hilarious videos on there too. We are planning on meeting them in Idaho later this summer for some camping. We always have a blast with Eric and Teresa, and needless to say, Scout slept like a baby for 2 days after we got back.

  1. Why do you not have Craig's "sexy" gun picture on here? That is the best one!
